Regionalization, ccan administrative district? says Webster. Although the word regionalization was practi- cally omitted from the dictionary, the defini- tion aptly describes North Centran new family territory today. Geographically, North Central has been lim- ited to Minnesota as its primary source for financial support since 1935, but by invita- tion of the Minnesota District, in the fall of 1962, the area grew to include Wisconsin, upper Michigan, and South Dakota. Both recruiting of students and fund raising has been enhanced bylthis expansion and once again North Central is moving toward the area support it enjoyed in 1930 when Wisconsin, upper Michigan, the Dakotas, and Montana were a part of North Centralts home territory. The decision which you make now at the completion of your Bible college training will likely determine your future. Be certain of your calling. This can be found by complete commitment to the will of God. Although you are an individual, you do have an obligation to fit into the pattern as an integral part of the Body of Christ. Therefore, the wise counsel of older brethren will be of great value. Recognize that everywhere there is opportunity. Then begin where you are to work for the Master. You may be among those who will be preaching, or you may be doing another type of Christian service. As a preacher you must know that you stand on holy ground. Know and hear the Word of the Lord. Be able to say, Thus saith the Lord, with deep humility of spirit. Nothing else is of value. The voice of man does not bring life and hope. Before man's ear is deafened by death, he must hear, Thus saith the Lord. The pulpit must never be used to display human knowledge and human ability. Exalt Christ and the Word of God. May God give you a heart as tender as that of Jeremiah, the weeping prophet. From the heart come the issues of life, so may your heart be always filled with the boundless grace of God. May your knees bend easily, but your backbone bend never. God equip you with strength to bear the burdens of many. May your eyes behold the glory of the Lord and the reality of human need. May your ears be attuned to the voice of the Holy Spirit. May the Lord touch your lips with live coals from the altar that you may experi- ence the thrill of an anointed ministry.
