Led by Rev. Carlson, the students enter into many interesting discussions that give a good picture of the work of the minister. Rev. Carlson attended Western Bible College of Winnipeg, Canada, and served as pastor in Thief River F 3115 until elected Superintendent of the North Central District. qachttf How to express our thoughts effectively is an endless task which Rev. Hurst has helped us solve. With a smile for all, he is ably directing the Practical Work Program and sponsoring the 1950 Archive. A graduate of North Central Bible Institute and the Sioux F alls College from which he received a BA. degree, he served as an assistant pastor for three years and has spent the last two summers traveling with the Cospelaires Quartet in behalf of the school.

Miss Selness is a grad- uate of North Central Bible Institute and holds a BS. degree from the MacPhail College of Music. She has had seventeen years of piano teaching ex- perience.
