Lindquist has been the successful pastor of the Minneapolis Gospel Tabernacle for the past twenty-five years. He is the founder of the school and has worked hard that all might enjoy the privilege of attending a full-gospel training institute. The longer Rev. page ten Criterion for Embarkation As our graduates embark upon a ministry of service for the Lord, we can think of a number of things that will be the necessary help for Christian Service. First of all, we need the Pilot, which is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ, He who said to Peter to cast his net on the right side of the ship. He who stilled the tempest when the disciples felt they were about to perish. This is the Pilot we need. The Bible is our chart and compass that maps the way from earth to heaven. Around us may be rocks and treacherous shoals but those that follow the Word of God will never make shipwreck of their souls. We have an anchor for the soul that can neither break nor drag which passes in behind the veil Where Jesus has entered as our etern- al High Priest. A two-fold cord holds us to this anchor which is His unchangeable Word and His never-failing promise. The dark night of sin is around us, tempestuous waves be at our .frail boat, but with Jesus as Captain and Pilot we shall anchor in the haven of rest. What a home-coming that will be. I have often thought of the terrible fourteen days of storm experience the Apostle Paul had as recorded in Acts the twenty-seventh chapter. An angel of God visited Paul and told him, iiCod hath given thee all that sail with thee? Although there were two hundred and seventy-six souls on board the ship yet not a'One perished. May this be true of all who sail aboard the USS STEVVARDS OF GOD.
