NORTH B I North Central Bible Institute was founded in 1930 by the North Central District Council of the Assemblies of God, which at that time comprised Minnesota, Wiscon- sin, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana. Rev. F. J. Lindquist was the first president, a position that he has held continuoulsy since its founding. In the early years of the School, classes were held in the Minneapolis Gospel Tabernacle which was soon outgrown, necessitating the expansion into new quarters to adequately provide housing and classrooms. This year the fifth floor was made available to the Students for additional dormitory space and a large recreation room. Of the hundreds of graduates, many are pastoring and working in the majority of the states. Forty-two are working in nineteen different countries throughout the world as missionaries. . This years enrollment gives an idea of the many states represented from year to year as there are students from twenty-six states, the territory of Hawaii and three foreign countries, Canada, Norway and France. To God is ascribed the honor and glory for all that the School is, and the prayer is that it may become greater in the years to come, should the Lord tarry. CENTRAL BLE INSTITUTE page seven
