Maih Courses Prepare Siudenis for College One of the chief characteristics of the present time is that the human mind is asserting itself largely through the power of mathematics. Colleges are raising the mathematical requirements in nearly all departments of instruction. Students should now be more vigorously disposed to learn than ever before. High school mathematics is undergoing extensive modernization. New methods and teaching skills are being used each year to prepare North Central stu- dents for college mathematics.
