all season finds many students involved Musical drama highlighted the North Central stage during the fall with Hello Dolly , the musical put on by the music department. Diann Thomas held the lead role as Dolly Gallagher Levi, Kevin Stock was Horace Vandergelder and El- len Swisher portrayed Irene Molloy. Long rehearsals and patience made the show a success. Also part of the Fall Festival was the Triangle Club sponsored boutique set up in the student center. Students were able to buy N.C. t-shirts, sweaters, and other mementos. A final highlight of the Fall Festival was the style show, Matchmaker Fashions . Twenty senior girls were selected by three independent judges to model fashions from Paul Harris stores. Students attending the style show were given a chance to win one of the door prizes. Many other activities also took place in the fall, such as the annual Military Ball sponsored by the ROTC, the fall play Spiral Staircase which had the audience solving a murder and the chil- dren ' s play, Winnie the Pooh . Young Life meetings brought many N.C. students together for singing, skits, and discussion about Christ. Students displayed their school spirit by attending the football games in the newly built stadium.

RIGHT — SPARKLING DOWNTOWN SKYLINE sym- bolizes the joy of the Christmas season prevailing at North Central. BELOW — JUNIORS EARN CHEERS as they portray defeated Southport players at a pep rally. Lights, tinsel snow bring Christmas Holiday spirit and panther pep livened the winter months. The holiday season began in India- napolis when the Christmas lights on monument circle were lighted. At N.C. the holiday season began with the large Christmas tree in the student center, decorated by the sophomore class council. The Christmas dance, sponsored by the student council, featured the slow music of Atlantis and centered around the theme of Babes in Toyland . The Music Department presented their annual Christmas program which fea- tured Handel ' s Messiah. Pep assemblies boosted school spirit for the basketball games. Junior English classes entertained at one pep session with a skit depicting basketball through the ages. Key Club sponsored its annual can drive two weeks before Christmas vaca- tion.
