CADET CENNE GIBSON IS PROMOTED TO Queen Cenne at the Military Ball where she and her escort, Cadet Captain John Slaughter, prepare to lead off the dance following the coronation in the student center. Candidates are selected by the Class Council and voted upon by those attending the dance. NORMAL PROCEEDINGS W ENT INTO REVERSE at the Fall Sports dance, a turnabout affair. Girls invited, chauffeured, and gave corsages to their dates; and a king, Tom Bauer, was elected to reign with Queen Susie Rogers, previously crowned at the Fall Festival football game.
