X-1..-I, ...rf The graduatrng class of 1957 from North Central I-hgh School had 1tS reun1on on Julv 4, 1967 We had decrded to n1eet at the moon Transportatron berng qurte expensrve, we decrded to rent rocket sh 1ps for the day from the Goodyear Company, non owned by Mane Tyler and her husband Don Martrn, prlot of one of the world's most: fa mous aulrnes, prloted our rocl et On the way to the moon, we near ly bumped rnto D3.V1d Royalty I-le was tryrng out hrs new mufilers and all at once hrs souped up Ford left the ground Davrd IS no v rac rng at the Gordon Speedway When we arrrved at tl1e moon port, M11 e Garther came out to me et us He was the head guard there As we entered the moon port we found that Betty Troncrn was the recept1on1st Her husband own xx ay to the Moon Glow Hall, we heard mus1c There was Carole Seacat now the duector of the Moon Band Symphony The mus1c was Just out of thrs world After everyone had arrrwed, Roy Wrllxerson gave the welcomrng speech because he rs now the Un1ted States Ambassador to the moon Gary Davrs, now Presrdent of the Unrted States, gave the openrng speech He 1S really too young but when Congress learned how rn tellrgent he was they moved the age requuements way down Jack Jones, now head accountant of the Indrana Candy Co , gave the frnancral report, and he also reported that today he and Geneva Wernert were celebratrng then' tenth wedd1ng annrversary They are rrchly blessed Wlth three sets of twms Tom Mart1n gave the readrng of the mmutes Tom 1S now head basketball coach at Indrana Um versrty He 15 sard to be seemg qurte a brt of the typrng teacher, Sharon MeMahel After graduatron from hrgh school, Sharon went to I U and rece1ved her degree Two other members of our class are teachers also Donna Adam 15 a shorthand teacher at the Spencerran Commerc1a1 School Thelma Stevens, havmg rece1ved a loan from Adalr Stevenson, IS now teacher of the Stevens Stevenson Prrvate School for Republrcans Also Slftlng at our table was the world' champ1on typrst, Clarrce AnnHendr1cks Boy' If Mrs Bell could only see her now Seated at the table to our rrght was Lou Hobbs, famous for her studros all over the world where she teaches grrls on How to Catch a Man rn f1V9 easy lessons She charges only S10 a course because she thrnlts every gul needs the lnformatron Her brother Creed, IS now a famous senator from VLrg1n1af1ght1ng desparately for rnte gratlon As we were lool mg around, x e heard a loud roar of laughter Guess who was makrng the H0156 Stanley Byerly Stanley rs now a xx orld famous ccmedran and has tal en over the George Gobel show wh1cI1 1S now known as Stan the Man Half Hour for all Gloomy Souls Douglas Smrth now a Jockey, won the Kentucky Derby r1d 18 S., 0 S M ,4 N-nv' C: T f 1 ' .
