l 'Rest Assured: 97 The Laughed NC's drama department chose the play. Rest Assured this year and it was performed on the evenings of November 4 and 5. I977. This comedy in three acts was about two fathers who continually fought about the marriage of their children. Tim Moore played Mr. Morelock who didn't care about anything but money and absolutely forbade his daughter to marry a poor boy. Jerry Burt played Luigi Lanconi who wanted his son to marry Mr. Morelock's daughter. Several other NC dramatists backed up the two fathers as the fight continued until some very strange things - including the appearance of Lucifer Uulie Stephens! - happened to get Mr. Morelock to change his ideas about money and to allow his daughter to marry Luigi's son. The play ended with a bang. leaving the crowd roaring. Director for the play was Darwin Krill and the student director was Kathy Scott. .1 l. Julie Stephens falias Lucifert tries to apply as a handiman at the play's conclusion. 2. Tim Moore pleads with Shane Sumner and Monica Lanius. 3. Jerry Burt and Lori Motter are united once again in heaven 4. Teresa Brown. cast as a maid. prepares to check on the sleeping Mr. Morelock. 5. Shane Sumner reads Tim Moore's temperature. 6. Kerry Fisher. knocked out by Janet Mick's hammer. collapses. 7. Tim Moore complains to Kerry Fisher about his inability to sleep. 8. Janet Mick describes All About Wrestling to her sister Laura Messner as mom Monica Lanius looks on. 9. Tim Moore can't understand why no one notices him. IO.
