Shouldn't the student body have the right to elect the officers of the Student Council? These and many other questions asked by the student body as the Stu- dent Council has become a separate organization of their own. They have rewritten the constitution and sponsored many assemblies and record hops at the end of ball games, and the homecoming. Finally, they set up a schedule for activities for thestudent body. It was a court type ceremony, where Dick Jones, presi- dent of the Honor'Society, acted as the judge, the facul- ty acted as the july, and the present honor students acted as the defense forithe newly inducted members. ln order to be an eligible member in the Honor Society, a person must have a full E? average, have character, show leader- ship, and service. ! X Q-,nn vu.-.ug - 4 l In an effort to reward scholarship, the scholarship banquet was once more 3 I sponsored by the Honor Society to recog- l nize the outstanding students in grades l seven through twelve.
