In the foreground is Carol Martin who received an All QExcellentJ rating and in the background is Ioy Hess who received an Al lSuperiorJ rating for piano solos at the district music contest held at Bowling Green on March 10. Carol and Ioy were not in the same class as to difficulty of composition as Carol's composition was more advanced than Ioy's. We are very proud of both of you. Doyle Rodenbeck received AH Cllxcellentj rating for his French horn solo at the district music contest held at Bowling Green. Queen Ruth and her Court QUEEN Ruth Leslie ATTENDANTS Left to Right Suzy Oyer, Shirley Oxendcr, Sharon Franz, Connie Beck. The first homecoming in the history of the North Central school was held Friday night, December 1 , during the intermission between the reserve and varsity games against Edgerton. The freshman attendant was Connie Beck, escort- ed by Raymond Ruppp junior attendant was Shirley Oxender escorted by Ieff Thompson: senior at- tendant was Suzy Oyer, escorted by Marvin Hane. Queen Ruth was escorted by Dennis Whetro. One of the highlights of the evening was the introduction of the 1927 and 1928 Kunkle basketball teams that participated in the state tournament. Members of the team present at the game were: Ross Coxg Phil Weidnerg King Figginsg Seland St oopsp Walter Suters, and Coach, Ralph Geesey.
