SCHOOL LEADERS HIP The improvement of education can only come about through the combined efforts of the board of education, executive head, teachers, and parents. Our board of education is striving to provide competent teachers, ad- equate facilities, and necessary materials to meet the needs of our changing world. The results of their efforts cannot be adequately measured at present but the future will tell the story. There was one change in our board during this school year. Mrs. Burl Dury replaced Mr. Critchfield as he decided not to enter the fall election. Mr. Brownson, executive head of our school system for the past three years , is working to improve our school system through efficient administration and direct per- sonal contact with the students and their activities . He lives with his wife Myrtle and daughters Brenda and Cindy in rural Pioneer. He received his bachelors degree from Ashland College and his masters degree from Ohio State University. MR.
