On October 22, Mark Reid died in Bar- rington CIIIJ Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile ac- cident. An English major, Mark was president of the Student Association and served as a member of the Execu- tive Committee. He also served as chairman of Programming Caucus, vice president and coordinator of con- certs for CUAB, chairman of the 1983 Homecoming Committee and a mem- ber of the Board of Directors of Naper- ville-North Central College Perform- ing Arts Association. Mark was truely a student who helped to make North Cen- tral a special kind of place. For this rea- son, we dedicate the 1985 edition of the Spectrum in memory of Mark Reid. -- 'wr---0 jT3'f'Tv '
