aff'-v i' ,..,.....v.,.,,.,,. .fy Jean Anouilh's Antigone, a modern interpreta- tion of the classic Greek tragedy, was presented by the North Central College Theatre Guild on Novem- ber 7, 8, and 9. The plot of the play evolved around Antigone's plight against King Creon's KRich Kra- sowski, JrJ refusal to bury her dead brother, Polyn- ices. Others appearing in the play were Doris Por- ter, Shelley Krivich, Tim Young, Mike Kolodziej, Jim Schultz, Danny Queen, Mike Johannsen, Brett Stevens Kage lOl, and Kathy Cerven. CON VOCATION S Convocations are designed to expose the cam- pus body to a variety of things in life. This year, we had several different types of convocations. John Houseman, an actor, came to us and spoke. The Honors Awards are given out at another convocation. Poet Kenneth Koch presented the first convocation speech entitled the Artlst's Interpretations of American Society. The Arve Dacne Sonnection appeared during spring term presenting a look at modern dance. Top Left: John Houseman talks informally before the convocation.
