Winter Carnival ww say be-f Winter Carnival offers a change of pace for NCC students. For the winter of '78, some of the highlights were the gong show Cwon by Nick Smolenj, a student-faculty basketball game, Qwe wonit mention who won thatl, a baby face contest, and a turnabout dance. Blizzard and all, it proved an interest- ing week and an overwhelming winter.

Every tradi- tion that wasn't battered beyond recognition by Madam Ambassador was broken by the unorthodox love affair between the Princess QMarguerite Smithj and a reporter CWayne Morganj. But it all turned out well in the end: Lichtenburg kept making babies and cheese, both couples were eternally united, and Max got back the ceremonial sword.
