enior zcerfi Left to Right Gordon Maechtle Treas urer PaulStrf'fler Vice President Nancy Thompson Secretary Floyd Thompson President rm Wolf Mens Rep and Mary Lee Sremsen Woman s Rep Derby Days were Senior Days this past year Our Senior Distinction consisted of black derbys forthe men and white toms lor the women worn by all seniors every Friday A new system this year for settling class business was the enior Questionnaire which every Senior re cerved at the beginning ol school It was a qurclc and easy system For determining class opinion without the necessity of numerous class meetings Another innovation was the round bulletin board especially For senior announce ments called the Qenror Circle Long remembered by the Class of 50 will be their supersized Halloween party called Spoolc Night at Ghoul s Castle Came the second semester and all School l I , ' I 1 ' 1 1 1 1 . , l I 'I I I , . I u ll . 1 no Talent Shows to give many of us a chance to display our abilities. s Remember the lun of putting on our class play, Green Pastures, and who can forget Senior ditch day when we all piled in cars For a grand picnic at an unknown destination. Fondly our thoughts return to the Jr.-Sr. Ban- quet held in the spacious Elmhurst Country Club. We wound up the yearwith two Seniorfhapels, one lor out l.ast Will and Testament, and one for our Class Prophecy. Then came Cap and Gown Day. Gravely we marched down the aisle toward those well earned diplomas, a little sad, maybe, to thinlc ol what we'd leave behind, very happy with the the thought ol what we were taking with us.
