But the Class ol '47 is graduating without him lor Dicl4 was lcilled in a taxi-train accident on December 96, 1944. l'le had come to N C C hoping to enter the ministry and had joined many ol the organizations on the campus. As a member ol Chapel Choir and the other clubs, he made many friends who will remember him as a laugh- ing and genial fellow. The Class ol 1947 pauses at this time to pay silent tribute to a. classmate who is gone but still with us in spirit.
