DEDICATION To Dean George Iohn Kim. M. A., Ph. D., D. D., whose persistent and never dying ef- forts have stimulated us to tread on, we humbly dedicate this volume of the SPECTRUM. Dean Kim represents the True North Central Spirit in every walk of life. I-Ie is genuine. sincere, courteous, studious, and extremely modest. He pos- sesses a profound understand- ing of human problems and especially those of the student. He is always ready with a helping hand and an eager de- sire to assist. It is our deepest desire that we may take out into life some of his attitudes, principles and teachings which he has ema- nated to us through a life lived.

FOREWORD Down through four years of college life-studies, compan- ions, activities, professors, and fun have colored our experi- ences and memories. The SPECTRUM comes as a reminder and a final stimulus to the recall of four years of our past. A light thrown through a crys- tal prism is scattered into a beautiful Spectrum ray. Our source of light has been the real, true North Central Spirit thrown upon four years of our lives. The SPECTRUM rays in their elegant and delicate colors are the things we will carry away from NORTH CENTRAL COLLEGE. They shall be our guiding forces and shall always enrich our experiences. They will show forth their influences in our attitudes toward life and in our attempts to live and work.
