the AIM OF FOUR YEARS OF HIGH SCHOOL IS TO DEVELOP AS A CATHOLIC GENTLEMAN North Catholic not only maintains a high standard as an educational institution, but also takes great pride in the quality of the Catholic gentlemen who graduate each year. During his stay at North the student is molded by a thorough religious program into a man of sound Catholic character. In the Freshman year the student is introduced to the Sodality, one of the school's leading activities in which he may participate throughout his four years. The Knights of the Altar and the St. John Vianney Club are other religious activities available to the student. Each year a spiritual retreat is held over a three day period. Daily Mass and Confession are available to those wishing to take advantage of them. On First Fridays Mass is held for the entire student body.

ST. MICHAEL, SOUTH SIDE C882-1934, This, the mother church of all South Side, was established in 1846. The Passionist Fathers invited the Brothers to conduct the Knaben Schule here in 1882.
