Every student roaming the halls of North Catholic. whatever be his age, scholarship, prestige or degree of sophistication, is familiar with the warm friendly smile of our Principal, Brother Frederick Hartwich, SM. Better known to stu- dents as Brother Fred, our Principal has been a constant presence with a guiding hand for all who may need him. Brother Fred. who gave us our yearbook theme in his opening day talk, is a perfect example of his own words. As the immediate genuine presence of the lfucharistic Christ in thc chapel is the center of all school activities. so is Brother Fred the sub-center around which all the attempts and undertakings of North Catholic revolve. The graduates of l55 thank you, Brother Fred, for a job well done!

Filling the spiritual needs of the stu- dent body, Father XYillian1 Crenner, SM., gives the students an opportunity in the participation in the Sacrifice of the Mass. He is the Spiritual Coordinator of the Sodality and also teaches the junior and senior classes religion. Father Crenner offers Mass at the closing of the Marian Year, inc Students Find their chaplain a jovial teacher.
