MIIST IIEVEIIENII Jllllll F. DEARDEN Cnder the counsel of Bishop John F. Dearden, the Diocese of Pittsburgh. and especially the diocesan school of North Catholic, made rapid forward strides. He carefully watched over our spirituality while we tended to the important work of mental. civic, and cultural improvement. The responsibility of offering Catholic students a dynamic Christian education is indeed an essential one. Bishop Dearden, to whom Providence has confided this task, has accepted the challenge. The members of the Senior Class of North Catholic recognize that he has given them the opportunity to enrich themselves with their Christian cultural inheritance. Undoubtedly many future benefits will accrue as a result of this fortunate circumstance. The graduates feel that under Bishop Dearden the spiritual life of Pittsburgh will augment and grow, keeping pace with the physical growth of the city. The members of the Class of 1952 delight in extending sincere thanks to Bishop John F. Dearden, who through his benign guidance has made their Christian education possible.
