Without the steel industry, Pittsburgh would never have progressed. To aid the improvement of Pitts- burgh, the Jones and Laughlin Steel Corporation is constructing a new steel mill on the South Side of Pittsburgh. Fll0M Passing over one of the many valleys which mark the terrain of Pittsburgh, this bridge, and others which are yet to be built, facilitate ease in travel about the metropolitan area.

,f.f!' Ula PL MB Ll ll...'l'0 KYLIE Shortly after the end of World War II, a seemingly odd group of gentlemen converged upon the downtown area of Pittsburgh. These fellows were called engineers and busied themselves with plans for remodeling the Golden Triangle. They drilled holes, surveyed locations for new buildings, and finally recorded their findings on the blueprints of a new Pittsburgh. Today the citizens of Western Pennsylvania are able to observe the fruits of the labors of these capable men.
