BLACK AWARENESS WESLEYAN!! SNOW FUN Friends like to stick together. To make the unity a little tighter, the Black Awareness group on campus put on a week of ac- tivities starting with history and the show The Wiz to draw out all its members ffriendsl and make new ones. - ! 1.1 . 'tif A afar? ? 5 ?l There are endless things to do - with endless people. AC- tivities in the gym serve the pur- pose for a big gathering and the fields behind the dorms are great for a 1 to 1 frisbee game. Nature seemed to like us a lot this winter - for that fact 18 inches worth. But that was fine - all childhood qualities Came out onto the snow covered fields.

Orientation for new and prospective students :xxx ' . 'if ---Y f - --f-. f Y -1- -- i. -1 , Choosing a college to attend is a difficult decision, The weekends of November 14-16, 1979 and March 16-18, 1980 found Wesleyfan Col- lege as the host of many high school juniors and seniors. The prospec- tive students attended school ac- tivities, were given campus tours, and greeted very warmly by the students, faculty, and administra- tion. After the final decision has been made and the new students begin their campus life, much must be explored and learned. The return- ing students, faculty and adminis- tration again greeted the incoming freshmen very warmly. Beginning on September 1, 1979 Freshmen orientation began and a week of testing, meetings, and social events, began the freshmen's lives as part of the North Carolina Wesleyan Col- leges family. X v T
