Starting the week off was the bonfire and pep rally, spon- sored by the cheerleaders. For what I am about to say is true. If they can make penicillin out of moldy cheese, Then they can certainly make something out of you! Nipsey Russel All college students go through a period when they really don't know what they want to do. We some- times ask ourselves what we are doing in college, we change our majors at least once a year, and sometimes we honest and truly feel totally lost. Classes were canceled for the day and the students enjoyed their day off. Many students were not prepared for the sudden snow and were lack- ing warm clothing. Gym socks dubbed as mittens and four sweat- shirts equaled one ski jacket. Cars pulling spare tires and flying snow- balls helped to make the day a suc- cess. , 4 'S- ,gi A 1. ' 1. There is excitement and hesita- tion. The year ahead is one of freedom, yet it is full of new re- sponsibilities. There are no more parents to answer to yet one's conscience can be just as ruling. As the new kid in town just remember, no matter what hap- pens, there is usually someone around willing to help you out! Of course Wes- leyan's food is not two weeks ol d but students sometimes miss their mom's cooking so muc that they'll say anything to get h a package from home!
