The name, meaning to disagree or think differently, is especially appropriate because it is reminiscent of john W'esley, founder of the Methodist Church, who refused to accept the doctrinal and ritualistic limitation of the established Church of England. The Dissenter is the only compilation of a school yearas historyg thus its value increases I as the years pass. It serves to furnish the stu- 1 dents and the College with a permanent pic- torial of the year in book form. Working on the annual acquaints the staff with the arts of photography, journalism, business man- agement, and various facets of community life at Wesleyan. It is hoped that the eflfort and time expend- ed on the 1965 Dissenter will be acknowl- edged by its pleasurable perusal not just this year, but for many years to come. ,V 'S 4 if .. , ff I . t I Debbie Neale.
