Memories of the students that flocked to the Brickyard after last year ' s National Championship are not on this students mind, as he prepares for his next class (far left). They start them young in these parts, as can be seen by the youngster (middle right). By the look on the younger childs face, he must be a Carolina fan wondering, without Michael Jordan, how will they beat State next year. After a long day, the brickyard settles down for the night but the memories linger (left). The Brickyard is one of the many large open areas on campus. The School of Education is providing the teachers needed for this new push in the education front. From the deep agricul- tural roots of the state of North Carolina, the Schools of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and Forest Re- sources provide extension services to all 100 counties of the State, and are teaching young farmers the skills needed to produce food in the more competi- tive, less regulated future.
