Letter Editor The ASAE Club consists of students in Agricultural Engineering and Mechanized Agriculture who are seeking insight into the professional side of their chosen field. Programs have brought out the various opportunities that are open to Agricultural Engineers. Members have an opportunity to obtain leadership training and meet other students and faculty members. The Club this year con- sisted of fifty members. [24]

Woodley Jimmy Hendrix Carlton Garner Leon Allen Kent Mann President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer Historian-Reporter MH P ' H Iv i4 4 1 wA| P •- - The Collegiate 4-H Club first started on State College campus in April, 1940 as the State College 4-H Supper Club with the objectives to foster fellowship among 4-H members at State College, to promote leadership and citizenship, and to acquaint club members with Exten- sion work and workers. Today the club promotes leader- ship, fellowship, citizenship, and religious development through weekly meetings, deputations with Woman ' s College 4-H Club, 4-H Church Sunday Services, devo- tionals, and projects such as operating a checking serv- ice booth at the State Fair and building the Homecoming floot. Animal Industry Club OFFICERS Jim Gilliam President Howell Gentry Vice-President Jerry Willis Secretary Don Henson Treasurer Walt Jones Reporter Tom West Historian Clint Reese Custodian James Smith Acting Chairman Brad Craig Adviser The oim of the Animal Industry Club is to improve the relotionship between students and faculty, to stimulate interest in the field of Animal Industry, and to have the Animal Industry Club members become better ac- quainted with the livestock breeders of this state. The Club has an annual publication, Meat and Milk the Scientific Ways ; sponsors the Annual Breeders Barbe- cue; fits and shows animals at the State Fair; operates the Dairy Bar during Fair Week; enters an exhibit at the Ag Fair; and encourages student participation in judging contests. All students enrolled in Animal Industry are members of the Animal Club. [2 6]
