When easier exams are given, the average will exceed 2.0 and with the new year came exams! The dreaded day finally came and students turned their interest from their many activities (Meredith, St. Marys, Peace, and who knows where else) to books. It didn ' t take too long for them to find that first semester was not so easy. Some of our friends have gone beyond . flunked out . . . So this page is dedicated to those poor souls who didn ' t make it . . .! We tried to get a picture of the readmission board to go on this page, however, we were unable to do so. Please bear with us and go on to the next page. Those who studied are here to read this.

Woody leads the band, providing tender moods for late hours. crushed corsages and sore feet . . Everyone was dressed up. The boys in their new or newly rented tuxes-bow ties, black shoes and scattered boutonnieres gave them a distinguished look. The girls poured themselves into their seldom-used formals. With bare shoulders, stockings and high heels they waited for their one-and-only Greek to arrive. When they reached the dance, out came the corsages to be delicately placed on the feminine form. Everybody made sure he looked his best—and the dance started. Like most dances this one took on the atmosphere of a sedate Viennese Ball at the beginning. As the dance however, the atmosphere relaxed—dancers danced closer, co rsages became crushed, feet tired, thoughts tender. That ' s how it was the night of December 4th at State College. Tuning up for the party after the dance . . . laughs tender moments . . all greek

After the most generous vacation (3 days) between exams, everyone returned to face the new semester. were griping about the semester being gated too fast, faculty about the students not studying, and the parents about their sons wasting money. The AGROMECK doesn ' t know who is responsible, but would like to go on record as saying that the semester system is for the birds. all part of an education .
