With new and improved technologv in the Textile Industry, there comes a demand for men with technical training to meet and solve its problems. It is the main objective of the School of Textiles to provide the training in Textiles which, coupled with practical experience following graduation, etiiiips young men to assume positions of real responsibility in the industry. Bryant Kirkland, Dean The School of Education offers the training required to attain a teacher ' s certificate in Mathematics and Science, Vocational Agriculture, Industrial Arts, and Industrial Education. The curriculum in each of these departments is de- signed to aid prospective teachers in acquiring an understanding of high school students and in selecting and using acceptable teaching methods. The school also provides undergraduate training for recreation leaders in industrial and rural areas.
