Is it an institution of higher learning, a col- lection of steel, stone, and brick buildings housing martinet profes- sors who award you a sheepskin after four or more years of beating your brains out ? Or is State College a ten minute dash in the morning cold from the Mill to Pullen Hall, the friends you ' ve made and the friendships you ' ll keep, the Meredith or St. Mary ' s girl you met at the Midwinters, the midnight bull-ses- sions, the tough professor who taught you something, the noon snack at the Mop-up?
