Everywhere we look about this great campus of ours we can see reminders of the great strides which have been made and are being made dailv. State College has now entered the limeliaht that until a small number of years ago was shared by only a few select schools in the nation. LInder the skilled hands of its capable administration, the college has moved by leaps and bounds into its rightful capacity as educator, trainer, and cnlightener of its many and distinguished graduates. On these pages are concrete proofs of the fact that North Carolina State College is truly a place ot progress in the making. 4iii The Riddick Engineering Labora- tories Building is scheduled for com- pletion in June, 1950. The gigantic structure will house lecture rooms, offices, many laboratories, and research equipment for electronics, radio, radar, television, and other branches of engi- neering.
