,„vi( Y, ' IrMvprx FOREWORD In editing this, the forty-first edition of the Agromeck, ive hope that we have not committed the grievous error of considering our commission as merely a personal honor. Though we feel that the honor is the highest ever bestowed upon us, we would rather look at our good fortune as an opportunity to render a real serv- ice to our class and to our beloved college. It is our most sincere hope that in the years to come, when the glamour of college days fades, and Life takes on a sterner dress, you may take this book in your lap and recall memories of friends . . . of trials and triumphs . . . of the life we used to know at North Carolina State College.
