IA MES TERRENCE CARNEY I was born in the year 1938 - Nov- ember 29. My home town then as now is Wilmington, N. C. Iwas nearly seven when starting school in Wilmington at Fosterhills School and then, after three years there, transferred to Sunset Park School. I left this last school at Christmas while still in the fourth grade. It was the year 1948 when I came here to be placed in the Irregular Grade. I have now at the close of this school year been attending school at the State School for the Blind for nine and one half years. Nicknames: Corney, Freuchman, Proffesseur OFFICES HELD AT SCHOOL: Eighth Grade Representative, Treasurer, Secretary, Senior Representative of the Student Co-Operative Association, Editor 119571 THE REFLECTOR, Student Editor 119583 THE DOGWOOD JOURNAL. OTHER ACTIVITIES: Chorus, Wrestling, Track, Vesper Committee, SALUTATORIAN. TYPE OF WIFE DESIRED: Educated, understanding, loving. BILLY CHARLES MA SSEY I was born in Martinsville, Va. , November 24, 1936. Later I moved to Reidsville and there I entered school. Later when I moved to Lexington, I attended the Junior High School there before I was blinded in a shot gun accident. In 1954 I entered the School for the Blind which Ihave attended since. My home town now is Raleigh since my family moved here. Nicknames: Fran, Nick OFFICES HELD: Representative, eleventh grade, Student Cooperative Association, Vice President Senior Class. OTHER ACTIVITIES: VALEDICTORIAN, Orchestra, Vesper Committee, String band. TYPE OF WIFE DESIRED: Serious minded and devoted to making a good home life and a family.

JOI-INNIE WILLIAM PARKS My birthday is December 21, 1937. My hometown is Winston-Salem where I was born. My first school experience was at Griffith School. Later I attended Fairview School, and finally was placed in the Sight Saving Class at Granville School before entering the School for the Blind in 1947. I have been in school here for ten years. Nicknames: Sparks OFFICES HELD: Tenth grade repre- sentative, and President, Student Cooperative Association. OTHER ACTIVITIES: Chorus, Track. TYPE OF WIFE DESIRED: Loving and understanding. LESLIE HAROLD WATSON My birthday is March 22, born 1936 My hometown is Deep Gap near Boone, North Carolina. My school experience has all been at the School for the Blind which I entered when I was ten years old, and where I have been since then. Nicknames: Red, Snake, Moose - Preferred. OFFICES HELD: Vice President Student Cooperative Association, President, Senior Class. OTHER ACTIVITIES: Vesper C0111- mittee, Bowling. TYPE OF WIFE DESIRED: Gentle but fun loving type.
