FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT'S DESK This last bit of advice for the class of '55 comes from the byways of everyday living, and not from a textbook. If they forget their Algebra and French, I hope they can remember the following: ' 4 1. Be cheerful. If you have worries, disappoint- ments, or pains, try to hide them behind a pleasant smile. ...N f 2. Always try to say something kind about other h people. 3. Live up to your promises. 4. Control your tongue, it can ruin you in a mat- ter of moments. 5. Pay no attention to those who criticize you. 6. Leam to discuss but do not argue. Egbert N.
