Anita Faye Johnson 1952 - 1968 Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James C. Johnson A lovely young face is missing from the Class of 1972. Many of us were privileged to have come up through school with Anita Johnson, and it is one of life’s great tragedies that she had to be taken from all of us who loved and admired her. She was to have been graduated this year and a feeling of sadness will inevitably be intermingled with the feeling of joy, which Commencement Day always brings, because of her absence. Our words can do little to perpetuate her memory, but this page in our annual will be seen by hundreds of her friends in the years to come. We shall never forget you, Anita.
