DEDICAT Mrs. Jane C. Williams Lacking the eloquence to express ourselves adequately in our words of dedication to Mrs. Williams, we are borrowing from Norman Cousins in his writing about Dr. Albert Schweit- zer. We feel that Mr. Cousins’ remarks about Dr. Schweitzer say for us what we feel to be, in her first year as Assistant Principal of the Upper School, one of Mrs. Williams’ biggest assets. “The greatness of Schweitzer — indeed the essence of Schweitzer — is the man as symbol. It is not so much what he has done for others, but what others have done because of him and the power of his example. This is the measure of the man.”
