This year Darlene Whitaker, a junior student, received this honor. Darlene moved on to represent our school in the District1r5 Student Nurses As- sociation of North Carolina, where she again walk- ed away with the title of Student Nurse of the year. She then went to state competition and received many honorable mentions. Some of Darlene's various hobbies include studying, dating, sports and all those really fun things.
