The Department of Agricultural and Extension Education prepares students for positions in educational fields in agri- culture and related areas including schools and colleges, ag- ricultural extension, business, trade and professional associ- ations, and government agencies. The Department administers a program approved by the State Department of Public Instruction for the preparation of teachers of agri- culture in the public school systems. The program includes courses in general education, professional education, and technical education. The program for Agricultural Education maprs leads to the bachelor of science degree In Agricultural Education. The department also offers the master of science degree in Agricultural Education.
