There is a nostalgic cloud bestowed over our campus. Many people feel the Aggie Spirit has gone down with the ages. It has gone down for those who have submit- ted, but not to the state that it can not be revived. We still possess the strong will, the determination, and the durability to stand up and say I am an Aggie! Our life can be em- braced, shaped, and molded into the person which we wish to become. Do not walk in the path of your fellow Aggies but, make a new path and walk full stride. Please, do not lean on our fellow man for support for he does not want to be held back; do not ask of him favors, for he is going to be somebody; and do not seek existence in him for he lives alone. He has his pride but most of all, he has that Olde Aggie Spirit. Still on the subject of class, this is one of the classiest rooms in Scott Hall.

WISH I wish those days could . I To float upon a breeze As I sing a song of free To live inside myself I wish that this was me To lean upon the sunlight As it bounces on the water To feel my life flow through me I wish that this was me To play among the flowers As I weave my thoughts alone To feel my hot blood racing I wish that this was me But I must not be flightly I must be brave and strong For to wish to be from nature Is a good place to belong Diana Anderson • I Aboue: An Aggie reunion Center right: Students doing last minute preparations for an exam. The capacity to wish is the thing which gives us our greatest pleasure in life. Wishing is a simple act that gives many of us so much happiness. Wishing is a process which involves wanting, desiring, and finally, getting. In or- der to really enjoy our materialistic values, it is obvious that a certain love for that object must exist. It has been said that we love those things that we worked hardest to acquire. If all we must do is just ask and receive the anx- ious, joyful pain of waiting and hoping is gone. Then, there would be no need to wish at all — and that is sad.
