SCHOOL OF EDUCATION AND GENERAL STUDIES The School of Education and General Studies extends to the students opportunities to prepare for teaching careers in the secondary schools of the State and the nation and for several other vocational and professional pursuits. The var- ious courses of study are structured so that the students may attain competence in both specialized and general areas of education. The School is comprised of seven major departments offering specialized courses of study in a variety of disciplines leading to the bachelor of science degree. The departments are: Education, Social Science and the newest addition, Pohtical Science.
