REFLECTIONS. . . of the Way We Used to Be Banner Northern Cambria High School 1977 Barnesboro, Pennsylvania JAMES HALL RONALD KEITH 4 Memories I have seen the times pass; memories drifting slowly to an opened door. They settle in a hidden place, fastened in the mind. They are the only prizes of what one being in mankind achieved, they are a pride, a story, the past of what has come to be — the relics of a changing life. Memories are a cherished gift, locked and sealed in an aging mind. They are all we have, they are all the past has left. Beth Ann Dumm We, the senior class, wish to honor our friends James Hall and Ronald Keith who may no longer be with us but are held bound in our memories. NO BO MCSS Wit Varsity Basketball '77 The 1976-77 season reflects upon many great team and individual accomplishments. The Colts captured the Moshannon Valley League Crown for their second succes- sive year and advanced to the District 6 Playoffs. Jerry Ranck and Tom Yuhas achieved personal success by being selected as Moshannon Valley League All Stars in which Tom was the only player selected with a unani- mous vote. Also, in District scoring standings, Jerry fin- ished 2nd with 51 8 points while Tom finished 4th with 465 points. But it took each player's efforts to achieve the highest goal ... to work together as a team. Mr. Paul Artley and Miss Jeannie Brown combined the qualities of understanding, confidence, and patience with their knowledge and know-how of the game to bring the girls together to work and to have fun as a team. Joan Leslie supplied her shooting ability, Diana Keith and Connie Sutilia their rebounding abilities, Marie Sholtis and Patty Conner their ball-handling abili- ties. The season was marked by triumph, defeat, exhilaration, fatigue, smiles, and tears. But through it all the girls managed to keep their poise, their determination, their will-to- win. Junior High Sports No. 1 The Jr. High proved to be exceptional this year in all that they undertook. The football and basketball teams became no. 1 by going undefeated during their seasons. The football team brought victory to N.C. by hard practice, good sportsmanship, and spirit. Our basketball team became the first Jr. High team to go undefeated in the school's history. These boys and the fame they brought to N.C. will be looked back upon as truly a great year. 95 Yearbook The 1 977 Yearbook Staff dedicated long hours, not only during school hours but also con- tinuing into the summer months.
