A book shows what is . . . and what should be. Most Congenial Diane Spo- sito and Bill Babiak 1973 Northern Cambria High School Barnesboro, Pa. This Banner shows many sides of the 1972-73 school year. Because of difficulties that arose during the begin- ning of the year, the staff felt that all the students must join together to get things accomplished. So, we chose Friendship as the theme for all to remember, not only when reflecting on this book, but always. I People is all everything is, all it has ever been, all it can ever be. 2 William Saroyan You don't live in a world all alone. It is a way of life that promotes productivity and creativity. Friendship starts in the mind and develops into an attitude that looks around for social relationships. It considers the good that is everywhere and in everyone. It deplores the waste of energy that is expended in purposeless contention. Both as individuals and as a unified group of aspiring young men and women of Northern Cambria's class of 1973 has lived a year of friendship. Members have enjoyed the benefits of favorable attitudes they have helped to develop with their teachers, and also their principal and superin- tendent. Their responsive cooperation has extended from their fellow classmates to the Board of School Directors, who approved the many special proposals of the class of 1973.
