Mrs. Margaret Mary Haines Walters In memoriam, we dedicate this edition of the Ban- ner to Mrs. Margaret Mary Haines Walters and to Mr. Francis Shortencarrier. Mrs. Walters and Mr. Shortencarrier possessed a unique quality; they loved life, and they lived it to its fullest. They were never too busy to give a friendly smile or lend a helping hand. Their out- going personalities drew people to them. Though these members of the faculty have passed away, they will live on in their students; they have given part of themselves to each and every one of us. The part they played in molding our lives is ineffable. We thank them for choosing teaching as their life’s work; for, had they not chosen this field, many of us would have been denied the privilege of having known them. We Dedicate In Memoriam . . . 6 Mr. Francis Shortencarrier
