Posting a .500 mark, this years squad was a young and aggressive team with all five starters being underclassmen. The early season showed a slow start but their improvement was obvious after the scorebook revealed many close games with highly respected opponents. The game plan consisted of a strong defense and balanced scoring w ich gave the team its depth. Senior Cathy Hendricks was an important factor to the team's success because of her ability to play sixth man and handle her position well.' Coach Williston stressed learning and acquiring experience as the top priorities for the Girls junior Varsity Basketball Team. Thelpurpose of the JV squad is to develope skills and game strategy for the upcoming Varsity leve. The team shot their way to a .500 mark with the help of sophomores and freshmen.
