Ain 't No Stoppin ' Us Now An era ended when the cross country teams crossed the finish line for the last time this season. Both the boys' and girls' teams completed their fourth season of competition. The girls' team, led by senior captains Chris Gromek, Nancy Fitzpatrick, and Donna Ronk, finished another successful season with a 10-1 record. The girls won their straight conference title and placed among the top three teams in Middlesex County. Also they went to the State Finals at Holmdel Park. The boys were paced by Conference champion Ken Riley and senior co-captain Greg Goebel. Together with the other runners they accumulated a record of 9-2. Both teams are rebuilding and have a lot of young talent. Next year should be even better for North Brunswick Cross Country Teams. 15 ,Axe The pain and determination of a runner are shown on the face of lohn Garback sy .4 ,gp E-T 1 Q0 1 Q is af f -1 l 3 ., l ,M W 'Q , - . y Q All Country runner, Ken Riley, leads Highland Park F XS? . opponent over a muddy home course.
