. v - , i Q els?-3. 525'--1 J ROTC The JROTC program is one of the more popular ones on the North Brunswick campus. The enrollment is strong which proves its worth. JROTC offers each individual a chance to excel in a variety of Ways. JROTC emphasizes the potential for leadership of each cadet. The program focuses on the importance of teamwork, cooperation and discipline. The importance of individuality is also stressed and encouraged. Each individual cadet has an incentive to work hard and progress. There is a direct relationship between effort, results and rewards. If a cadet is willing to pay the price, recognition will definitely come his or her way. That's a fact! asm

The bus drivers shoulder a big responsibility in transporting students to and from school. Mr. Hargrove has charge of the drivers. The janitorial staff, spearheaded by Mr. Clarence McKoy, does an excellent job.

The teamwork concept teaches each individual to rely on his fellow cadet while working in a common cause. Each company is required to be team-oriented. Discipline is also required to be a JROTC cadet. This requires determination on the part of the individual. The will to excel and the will to win will never die and are more important, of course, than all of the events which occasion them. In order to excel, a cadet must have discipline. JROTC cadets exemplify a cross-section of students at North Brunswick. Each cadet is evaluated and there is a file which indicates his or her progress. Awards are given periodically. eo B9
