Journalism students have a lot in common with annual staffers - deadlines. Producing the next issue is a never-ending task for Sting staffers. Ms. Judy Beach is the l journalism advisor. In the picture on the right, she is seen with Scorpion Sting editor Laura Faulk. The editor must see that all assignments are made and all copy is in by deadline time. It's not an easy job. 1 70

It is particularly fitting that the North Brunswick Student Government Association has as its symbol the scales of justice. The SGA acquaints N.B.H.S. students with our system of justice and allows them imput in certain areas. The N.B.H.S. SGA is guided by Ms. Ava Thomas. In the pictures on page 69, the entire Association gathers at the base of school water tower. The SGA has a large membership which means excellent representation.

C ,J - The Mighty Marching Scorpions are the pride of Lelanders. Under the direction of band director John Gideon, the Scorpion marching band performs at football games and various parades. The band is inspirational. It takes hours of practice in both the band room and on the field to put a superb marching band on the field. Mr. Gideon believes in hard work and dedication. That hard work pays off huge dividends.
