All hail the blue and gold! The official colors at North Brunswick High School are navy blue and gold. Students identify with the official colors. Various clubs and organizations besides the athletic teams and cheerleaders proudly display the blue and gold. Whenever students wear school colors, school spirit prevails. North Brunswick also has an official alma mater. The alma mater is sang at special events and allows students and former graduates to spiritize. A big part of school spirit is North Brunswick's marching band under the direction of John Gideon. Mr. Gideon also has directed a pep band in the past which played at basketball games. The marching band adds a lot of spirit at football games plus gives everyone an excellent show in music. Students promote school spirit at various school functions including athletic events, homecoming activities and club activities. Good school spirit means fun, fun, fun. 1 - - One of the more important aspects of student life in a high school are the various clubs and organizations. Involvement is the key word and students are able to develop a variety of academic, vocational and social skills through club participation. Leadership abilities are also inhanced Club life at North Brunswick is extremely important to both students and faculty. Clubs create a rapport betwen the school and community. And that rapport is usually positive because clubs stage many civic and community projects.
