DEBORAH WOODCOCK MISS SCORPIO '82 he title of Miss Scorpio is an honor. Each year, the annual staff selects Miss Scor- pio to represent the yearbook staff and the school. There are many qualities which each Miss Scorpio must possess - beauty, nice personality, good character and attitude, and involvement in extra-curricular ac- tivities. This year's se- lection is no exception. She possesses all of those qualities. Her name is Deborah Woodcock and her pic- ture can be seen on the double-page spread. The large picture re- flects her sensitivity and concern for fellow students. It also reflects her beauty and humble attitude. The morticed pictured reflects Deborah's personality - her free spirit. Deborah Woodcock is the epit- ome of the All-American stu- dent. She realizes the value of hard work, drive and dedica- tion. She believes in the Ameri- can work ethic and practices what she preaches. Deborah not only works hard in the class- room, but also in the world of work. She is a member of the school's cooperative vocational education program in Mr. Cox's Industrial Cooperative Train- ing class. She is a member of the Vocational Industrial Clubs of America KVICAJ. Deborah took a job earlier this year at Leland's McDonalds and is gaining experience in the world of work as well as the world of academics. A member of the school's volleyball and girls' basketball teams, she has done her share in helping the Scorpi- ons excel in athletics.
