The BRONCONIAN is proudly dedicated to a group of men who by their deeds have shown their sterling worth and their continuous desire for a better school. These men have formed a group called the MEN'S ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION. The North Branch Men's Athletic Association was organized in 1963. The purpose of the club was to give all possible assistance to the Athletic Department to make it one of the finest. These men planned ways to raise money to purchase new equipment and gave of their time and energy whenever and wherever needed. The first officers of the M.A.A. were President, Dr. Lewis Graham, Vice President, Edward Krepps, secretary, Treasurer, Bob Peet. This year the officers are President, Sam Herron; Vice President, Hugh Mclnally, secretary, Jim Hogan, and treasurer, Bob Peet. During these years the M.A.A. has bought two sections of bleachers for the gym, bought football, basketball, baseball and track uniforms, bought track equipment, including an indoor jumping pit, sent boys to basketball camp, one year sent a boy to Boys' State, provided a summer recreation program for an average of two hundred fifty boys and helped in buying new blazers for the basketball team for next year. What a wonderful record! We feel that this group of men deserves a great deal of praise for their efforts and the final results. These men are doing more than buying equipment; they are helping boys to learn the qualifications that make good American citizens. 2
